What power do your marquee air conditioning units need?
Each unit requires a single phase 20 amp socket. If the site has three phase power available, we can usually run a distribution board to power multiple units. Tell us your site power and we will put together a plan.

Can you supply generators if there is no onsite power?
Yes. We can supply diesel generators for multiple units or small inverter generators for single units. Generator packages and refuelling options are also available.

Do you work with marquee companies during setup?
Yes. We aim to be onsite when the marquee company installs the structure so the AC units can be positioned before the walls go on. The wall drops between the indoor and outdoor sections of the unit.

Are your units quiet enough for weddings and speeches?
Yes. Our inverter units run quietly and are suitable for weddings, speeches and corporate events.

Yes. We handle full delivery, installation and pack down.

How big of a marquee can your units cool?
We regularly cool marquees up to 1000sqm. Once we know your event layout, we can recommend the right setup.

How many units will my marquee need?
As a rough guide, one unit cools about 60sqm of enclosed marquee space. Factors such as season, marquee span, number of people inside the structure, catering equipment, and whether the roof and walls are clear or opaque will all affect the final requirements. Please discuss your event details with us so we can calculate the correct setup for your marquee.

Are stand-alone units better than packaged units?
We believe our stand-alone inverter units can outperform traditional packaged units for many marquee applications. Packaged units typically require large trucks, cranes or heavy lifting gear to position, and their large compressors often need significantly bigger generators to handle high in-rush currents. This leads to higher fuel costs, heavier cabling requirements and more complex site setups.
Our stand-alone units avoid these issues. Their inverter-driven motors ramp up gradually, reducing in-rush current and operating far more efficiently. Once the desired temperature is reached, the units automatically modulate down, using less power and maintaining a stable indoor climate. Each unit can also be individually set to different temperatures and fan speeds, giving better control across different areas of the marquee.
By positioning multiple units around the marquee, we can distribute cooling evenly at guest level, helping maintain a consistent, comfortable environment throughout the entire space.
